Raechel Pooley

I’m passionate about empowering people, specialising in women and young adults to rebuild their confidence, to achieve more positive futures and to create success through adversity.

I studied to become a Coach whilst on maternity leave with my daughter; balancing my managerial job, my education and being a new mum; feeling like you are being pulled from every angle and being stretched too thin. Feeling the need to succeed in every aspect of your life can be tiring, especially when you’re not sure exactly what it is that you want. I know what it’s like to lose your identity, self-worth and sense of belonging, I also know how good it felt to be ‘me’ again even if this new me was a different version to before.

I am motivational, empathic and compassionate.  I help people to feel confident about who they are and in their own skin, whether this is related to family commitments, careers, healthy lifestyles or changing thinking patterns and behaviours.  I sit with people, empowering them to make decisions, giving them time to talk, listening, encouraging, acting as a sounding board and asking questions.

Before becoming a Coach, I had extensive experience and transferable skills from my years in managerial roles where the main focus was to encourage individuals to be the best they can be and to have the confidence to be independent with their decisions and within their wider lives. I truly believe we all possess the tools we need in order to succeed, we sometimes just need that extra nudge to unlock them.

I have a degree in psychology and I am a European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) qualified & accredited Senior Coaching Practitioner and am fully insured.  I am currently seeing all clients via Teams, Skype or telephone but hope to go back to seeing clients face-to-face in my consulting room in King’s Lynn soon.

Making changes and taking that leap of faith can be challenging and at times scary, which is why  I offer a safe space in which you can explore your ideas, so that at the very least you can be confident in how you are feeling but at most, feel empowered to make that decision and make that change.
